Silence now fills the air

Where dancing footstep scenes

Once performed, gracefully twirled with flair

Lay peaceful where majestic dreamland reigns.

Bouncing curly heads now silent in sleep

Little sisters at days end now at tranquil peace

Countless hours of play with a dazzling sweep

Wittiness and laughter for a while now cease.

What will a new day bring?

For little ones, imaginations reaching heights

Of new songs to sing

Angel smiles touching heart's starry lights.

Air once more filled with delight

Bringing joy to lift our spirit role

What cheer the youth brings to sight

That makes us glad as days of old.

Bringing memories of our yonder day

When we were joyful and care free

And went happily on our way

Once again in their youth we see.

Lord forever let a part of me

Be as humble as a child to be

That we may stay young at heart

And instill God's goodness as our part.
